Past Community Programs Sponsored by SAS

a. SAS donated funds to send a Marble Falls High School band student to Carnegie Hall to perform with the Marble Falls High School band.
b. SAS hosted an exhibition of the talented Spicewood Elementary School students' art at The Gallery at Spicewood.
c. SAS donated to the Friends of the Spicewood Community Library.
d. SAS sponsored a captivating performance by the Austin Chamber Music Center quartet for the Spicewood Elementary School students.
e. SAS sponsored a performance by Donna Ingham, Spicewood's own storyteller and acknowledged Biggest Liar in the entire state of Texas, for the Spicewood Elementary School students.
f. SAS sponsored a fantastic performance by The Hairy Potters, Texas Pottery Makers, for the Spicewood Elementary School students.
g. SAS donated to the Austin Music Persons Insurance Program.
h. SAS sponsored a performance by soprano Colleen Mallette the High C Diva. She electrified Spicewood Elementary School students with her amazing voice and musical irreverence.
i. SAS underwrote printing of the Spicewood Elementary School's Creative Arts Magazine in 2008 and 2009. The cover for the 2009-2010 edition is shown below:
