The Spicewood Arts Society serves as a cultural resource for all members of the local community. The Spicewood Arts Society actively fosters relationships with community leaders, other local civic organizations and schools. The Spicewood Arts Society will provide leadership in working with these community groups to raise the level of awareness and appreciation of the arts through educational outreach programs, leadership opportunities, and art scholarship programs.

To accomplish its community outreach goals, the Spicewood Arts Society will:

• Identify opportunities to provide literary, performing, and visual arts programs in the Spicewood area, including at the Marble Falls and Lake Travis schools. Work with community leaders and school officials to develop appropriate programs and schedule arts performances and programs;

• Establish and maintain an annual arts scholarship program;

• Partner with the other community organizations, including the Spicewood Community Library and the Spicewood Community Center, to jointly promote the arts in Spicewood; and

• Establish relationships with Hill Country area art organizations.
