Arts Round-up Artist Application
Summary:
a.When: October 24, 2009 10AM - 6PM, October 25, 2009 10AM - 5PM
b. Where: Old Paleface Ranch Headquarters located at 25500 Hwy 71, Spicewood, Texas 78669
c. Completed application, fees, pictures and artist statement due to the Spicewood Arts Society by June 30, 2009.
d. Application/Jury Fee is $15.00 for new artists.
e. Tent/Stall fee is $110.00, including electricity.
f. Refund after acceptance policy:
a. Withdrawal by 8/15/2009 - $100.00 refunded;
b. Withdrawal by 9/12/2009 - $50.00 refunded.
c. No refunds after 9/12/2009.
g. Although the show will go on despite poor weather, severely inclement weather may force cancellation of part or all of the show and I understand that no refunds will be given for this reason.
h. The Spicewood Arts Society will not be responsible for loss of or damage to my property.
Application Check List:
a.Completed and signed Application Form.
b.Artist's statement of 100 words or less.
c.Include digital pictures of five (5) representative
examples of your work - Digital picture files must be in jpg (quality 10) maximum width 1200 pixels, maximum height 1200 pixels. Pictures will be used by the jurors to score the art work and may be used to aid in publicizing the event in electronic or print media. You may include a description of the work if size or other important information is not obvious in the pictures. If sending your description via CD or email, please include description in a separate file in *.txt or *.rtf format.
d.Provide Texas Sales Tax ID Number on the Application Form or provide a copy of your Texas Sales & Use Certificate.
e.Application/Jury Fee: Include a check for $15.00 payable to "Spicewood Arts Society" or pay online by clicking on the button below.
Tent/Stall Fee: Include a check for $110.00 payable to "Spicewood Arts Society". This check will not be deposited until you are accepted for the festival and will be returned if not accepted. Payment may also be made online by clicking on the button below. If you are not accepted for the show, a refund will be sent to you by the Spicewood Arts Society.
f.Submit Application via Email. To email application, copy this page, open your email by clicking here to start email to info@spicewoodarts.org, then paste this form into the body of the email, fill in the information, attach the required photographs, and copy of your Texas Sales & Use Certificate and click "send". Your checks should be mailed to the address indicated below, or your payments can be made online as indicated above.
g.Submit Application via U.S. Mail. Send completed Application Form, CD with the pictures of your work (note, digital pictures
must be sent via email as instructed above), a copy of your Texas Sales & Use Certificate and checks for the Application/Jury Fee and Stall/Tent Fee
